Chin Implant (Genioplasty / Mentoplasty)
“With a chin implant, enhance your facial contours and achieve a balanced, attractive profile.”

What is a Chin Implant?
A chin implant is a surgical method used to aesthetically enhance the shape and size of the chin. A weak or recessed chin line can negatively affect the overall symmetry of the face.
With a chin implant, the chin line becomes more defined, and the profile gains a more balanced and stronger appearance.
How is a Chin Implant Performed?
Chin implant surgery is typically performed through a small incision made either inside the mouth or under the chin. The selected implant is placed on the front surface of the chin bone and secured to fit naturally with the existing bone structure. The procedure is usually carried out under general anesthesia and takes about 1–2 hours.
When the incision is made inside the mouth, no scar is visible from the outside. If the incision is placed under the chin, the scar is very small and gradually fades over time.
Day 1
Mild swelling, tightness, and some difficulty in speaking may occur. A liquid diet is recommended during this period.
Day 7
Swelling and bruising decrease significantly, making normal speech easier and allowing a transition to soft foods.
1st Month
The chin line settles into its new shape, and any numbness present largely improves.
1st Year
The implant fully integrates with the tissue, and the final aesthetic result becomes established.
