Eyelid Aesthetics

“With eyelid aesthetics, we erase the signs of fatigue and restore a natural, lasting vitality to your gaze.”

What is Eyelid Aesthetics?

Eyelid aesthetics, medically known as blepharoplasty, is a surgical procedure performed to correct sagging, puffiness, and wrinkles around the eyes caused by aging, genetic factors, or environmental influences. This operation can be performed on both the upper and lower eyelids.

The goal is to make the eyes appear younger, more dynamic, and free from signs of fatigue. In addition, in cases of excessive skin sagging, the procedure can also improve the field of vision, providing functional benefits as well.

How is Eyelid Surgery Performed?

Eyelid surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia, during which excess skin, fat, and muscle tissues around the eyes are removed or reshaped. The surgeon makes fine, nearly invisible incisions along the natural eyelid crease to carry out the procedure.

Post-operative scarring is usually minimal and fades over time. The surgery itself is relatively short, and most patients are able to return home the same day or the following day.

Day 1

Swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort around the eyes may occur. Cold compresses and adequate rest are recommended.

Day 7

Swelling and bruising significantly decrease, and stitches are usually removed within 5–7 days. Patients may resume daily activities, but strenuous exercise should be avoided.

1st Month

Healing around the eyes is largely completed, scars begin to fade, and the aesthetic results become more visible.

1st Year

Complete healing is achieved, and the eyelid contours attain a natural and youthful appearance.
