Op. Dr. Batıbey Batmacı was born in İskenderun, Hatay. After graduating from medical school, he achieved one of the top ranks in the national medical specialization exam (TUS) and moved to Istanbul for his residency training. Upon completing his specialization, he returned to his hometown Hatay to fulfill his compulsory medical service.
